I finally found a way to do the Salt Water Flush without completely gagging for the twenty minutes it takes to drink it. Instead of placing the salt in the quart of water, I poured a little of the water (about 4 oz) from the quart into a small glass with 1 tsp of salt. I stirred it and slammed it. There was a little salt left in the glass, so I poured a little more water, swished it around the glass, and slammed it again. Then I could enjoy the rest of the clear water in peace. It took an hour and 15 minutes before my body was ready to eliminate. There were no symptoms of cramping or any other discomfort.
I spent most of the day hanging around the house reading the Master Cleanse Book. It's a quick read that I highly recommend.
It's easier for me to do the cleanse when I'm at work. Keeping busy helps to keep my mind from being focused on food. It's always funny to me that I don't ever "feel" hungry. What makes me want to eat is: cooking for my family, smelling food, watching people eat, and watermelon (I could live off of watermelon alone).
Later I went rollerskating with my family. I really miss skating. We used to go every Friday during the school year. I can't wait to purchase my own skates. I always get blisters with the rental skates. After skating we went to In and Out. Everyone had burgers and fries as I sipped my Master Cleanse lemonade. Still going strong.
